About Me

Born in 1988 in Neuruppin, Germany. I instantly fell in love with moving images the first time I discovered the giant VHS collection at my best friends house. After I graduated from High School in 2008, I got my first job as a projectionist in a local cinema. Only showing Film didn’t satisfy me – I wanted to be part of the process. So I decided to become an editor.

In 2010 I moved to Berlin and started an apprenticeship at das werk. From 2011 until 2015 I worked for ARRI Media. During these years I had the chance to work on numerous of great projects. In 2013 I edited my first feature film Aschenbrödel und der gestiefelte Kater. Since September 2015 I am working as a freelance editor on projects like Concordia, 25 km/h, Over & Out and many more.

What else can I tell you about me? I have a soft spot for coming-of- age movies, I am a cookie monster and I love the Beatsteaks.
