About Me

Born in 1988 in Neuruppin, Germany, I finished School with the highest possible qualification (Abitur) in 2008. Since I always loved Films, my first job was as a projectionist in a local cinema. Only showing Film didn’t satisfy me, so I decided to become an editor.

In 2010 I moved to Berlin and started an apprenticeship at das werk. From 2011 until 2015 I worked for ARRI Media. During these years I had the chance to work on numerous of great projects, e.g. as assistant editor for Til Schweigers Schutzengel. In 2013 I edited my first commercial for Bahlsen Pick Up and later that year I edited my first feature film called Aschenbrödel und der gestiefelte Kater. Since September 2015 I am working as a freelance editor on projects like 25 km/h, Dünnes Blut, Cody – The Dog Days Are Over and more.

What else can I say? I have a soft spot for coming-of- age movies, I eat Soft Cakes every day and I love the Beatsteaks.
